About
I am Mark D O'Neill, a freelance graphic designer based in Manchester.
I have just completed my third year of a Degree in Graphic Design at the University Of Cumbria in Carlisle. During this time I have worked for a number independent clients producing work of varying scales, from a small run of 30 posters for an evening of swing to the entire art direction for Carlisle Cathedral's production of Daniel, the musical.
Aside from design I am extremely interested in aviation and photograph historic aircraft whenever I get the chance.

Work
This was a University project which required me to produce a map. The brief was no more specific than that.
This closeup shows how the map is made up of words relating to the area in which they fit.
Some areas were much harder to fill than others. One vesion had Nothing in 72pt all across Scotland.
This was taken between Penrith and Keswick in the North Lake District.
