About Us
Mark and Cindy Maynard have been married and singing together for over 37 years. They have presented their musical stylings for many churches, youth groups, adult retreats, camps, seminars and Christian organizations throughout the United States. The message in their music reflects the commitment to serve Christ through song. Both accepting Christ in their hearts and lives at an early age gave them the desire to share their talents and faith with others. Mark began his singing career at the age of 14 with several gospel quartets and trios. Throughout that time, Mark had the opportunity to share the stage with larger named groups such as The Imperials, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Keystones and Stamps Quartet. Cindy began singing at the age of 4, standing on platform railings to be seen. At a very early age Cindy also appeared on a television show which featured "The Three Stooges", where she performed the song "If You'll Take My Jesus". Cindy continued singing throughout her teen years as a soloist and member of a trio ministering to various churches. Both Mark and Cindy grew up in Christian homes where their fathers were ministers of the gospel. After meeting on a blind date, they quickly found they had many things in common, fell in love and married in 1974. Mark and Cindy have been blessed with one daughter, son-in-law and three beautiful grandchildren. Their desire is to emphasize the message in the music they share. Their prayer is that others will come to know Christ through their ministry.

In looking for new talent for the coffee house, Mark and Cindy's name was given to me by a friend. I called them and they first came and sang for us in the spring. Just one song was all it took for our coffee house crowd to fall in love with them. Not only do they have wonderful harmony together, you can feel God's presence in what they sing. They returned in the summer and were the featured musicians for our "summer fest". I can truly tell you that they live what they sing about. May God's presence be with them wherever they go and bless many more people through their singing as they have blessed Cana's Corner.
