The Morticians are a Classic Rock Band based in Waco, Texas that plays your favorite tunes from the

50's, 60's, and 70's!!!

The Morticians' songlist reads like a Who’s Who of the Golden Era of Rock. With performances of songs by such great artists as the Beatles, Credence Clearwater Revival, Roy Orbison, the Kinks, Elvis Presley, the Eagles, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Linda Ronstadt, the Righteous Brothers, Van Morrison, Santana, Buddy Holly, the Rolling Stones, as well as many other "One-Hit Wonder" groups, it's hard to sit still when The Morticians take the stage!!!

The group has been a favorite through the years at Waco's Summer Sounds concerts, and more recently at the Bosque River Stage Summer Series concerts. The Morticians have been voted the Central Texas Area's Best Band numerous times in the Waco Tribune Herald's Annual Reader's Poll, and have been named to the prestigious Hall of Recognition by the Music Association of Central Texas!

Get ready for our Twenty-fourth Annual Rock and Roll Valentine’s Dance, hosted by yours truly... THE MORTICIANS! This year’'s big event will be at the Waco Convention Center on Saturday February 11th, 2012. Reservations are $22.00 per person (adults only), and the price includes a hamburger dinner with all the trimmings, soft drinks, bottled water, and ice/cups. Beer, liquor, and wine coolers will be available for purchase on site. No BYOB or ice chests permitted by WCC (no smoking facility).Doors open at 6:45 pm, dinner served until 9:00pm, dancing 8pm until midnight. Reservations must be prepaid and received by February 9th. No tickets are issued, so reservations must include name, address, and phone number for all individuals attending. Also please include a contact email address if available. Indicate your desire to sit with another person or group.
