My Design philosophy
I strive to create unique pieces of art that can be enjoyed by all. My love for color, texture, and culture are combined in each unique piece. Painting, knitting, sewing, drawing, and refurbishing junk brings me great joy! I hope you are able to find joy in some of my art!
My Inspiration
Having been raised on a ranch in West Texas, my views on art and fashion have been molded by nature around me. I find it amazing to capture the unique beauty of an old ewe with her new lambs or an Angora goat being sheared. Visiting new places, having cultural experiences and facing challenges drives me to express myself through several different mediums.
My Materials
I work with acrylic paint, nupastel, charcoal, and watercolor marker. I knit with wool, acrylic, and polyester yarns. The unique lampshades are made from old shades, fibers, paper, glue, fabric and other materials.
