I see a sense of joy, purity and comfort With my inner power urging me to keep on going I break down all obstacles blocking my path A challenge it is indeed, but its easy. In my eyes I see that my roots are reminding me I've travelled a lot, paved or gravel way; And for that, I earned every bit of my success Its true I had support, but I did the work! In my eyes I see people looking up to me and say Where does this guy come from? I have been here all along Its simply my time to shine now In my eyes Courage means I have faith I climbed mountains, jumped over hurdles, Scrapped my nails on tall walls like a cat To climb all the way to the top Marc Jade
I stand outside staring at the sky The intensity falling from the grayish clouds, Water refreshing our paths of life; And purifying our souls drop by drop. The winds swaying the trees from side to side, Colorful leaves of autumn beginnings, bloom. The sound this moment gives to my ears Makes my mind go numb. Bringing me to places I've never gone, The feel of sadness and joy all at once Makes my heart beat even harder! At a storming speed, the rain! Hits the heated ground like running soldiers, To the right and to the left all I see and feel Is God tears of joy and new beginning! Marc Jade
I breathe my desires, I speak with passion, Yesterday is in the fire, Tomorrow is filled with dedication! My prize is near, I have no fear. I tumbled over rocky roads Experience, I have a hell of a load! Each day holding on to a pebble, A small substance stronger then metal. And with it, I am balanced from left to right Ready when time comes, and need to fight! My aura expels strong energy, With people sinking it in with ease. My destiny I proclaim it is mine, Climbing every step of the way! Marc Jade
From sky to ground, it rained, But inside my heart I smiled; Since my joy never maimed, As my soul is with my love, into another life! Above and under water, A middle that I call equal; Is where balanced love really matter, Our hands together were mutual! High winds made us swayed, But none the less did we never fall. We swam and struggled through salty waves, But persevered till our journey needed to stall!
Sure enough our road should've been paved, But in the end of it all, we saw the light. A light we knew we'd eventually have to face, After long years full of life! The love we cherished day and night, Is what kept us together for so long! The promises we made to the eternal-light, Are what made our journey prolonged! Among life and heaven, There is us, climbing every step, Into the promised-land! Together, as one, like an endless thread! Marc Jade
The road and rails are long and winding, Constructed of many materials. It could be paved or made of iron, It could be gravel or cement, Or it may what I want it to be! Which path to choose is never easy? Sometime it is not by choice! The paved can be smooth or rutted, The gravel road can be so pitted, How shall I proceed?
Their factors influencing the road of choice, The control is mine on which road I choose. I am the snowplow to clear that path, I am the grader to move the rocks, I decide how I proceed! The road is not less long or winding, I am in control and will not be denied. I am steering my vehicle of life to my choices The wheels on the road and rail, Thats how I proceed!! Marc Jade
Begins with a wide view, And soon gets uneven and narrow. The more you walk, the tougher it gets, But strength means balance and then equaling success! Country roads or the highway, We all reach the finish line at some point, It may be gravel or it may be paved; But the question is; did you earn your medal? Taking old country roads, Might slow you down its true, But because you are wiser you will know that Time will tell like patience will deliver!
A highway consists of many exits, Which one is your true destiny? Good direction is your key, Like capturing your strategy is needed! Don't compare but to look forward, Don't look back since you will fall, And if you do will someone help you get up? If you are good to yourself and others, Absolutely! Marc Jade
I walk on a road no one knows but me, Although I do not know its name Instinctively, I know where Im going; To a distinct place I call dreams. Long walks swirling my life along the way, From challenges earning my experiences, Thunderstorms shaking my grounds, I walk! Black ice urging me to be cautious, I still walk! Rain drops wetting my cheeks, Night after night, I decide to walk, Darkness walks but yet, Enlightens my mind and soul.
The moonlight guiding me to my next turn, Urges me to keep on going no matter the distance. Regardless of the cruelty and tough times, I walk straight with my head up high! In the end, when I cross the finish line, I will look back to the walks Ive achieved one last time, I will thank my road for giving me the courage And I will remember the walks that brought me here! Marc Jade
Above you all I hear your cries, The ones who I use to call angels Are the ones standing right next to me; Protecting me and guiding me through it all! All I can do is wave you all goodbye, It is only a short farewell. Even though my body has been laid to rest For some reason which God only knows why Its only for a short farewell! I am watching over you from up above With peaceful air and painless feel I am encouraging you all to be happy One day, when your time has come.
You will notice that I will be standing at the end of the tunnel And I will welcome you into a peaceful world! I know that life can be short and unfair, I will still remain in your thoughts, I will still remain in your heart, I will still love and be loved by everyone loving me And I will still be your son, brother, and great friend!
