Classroom
Expectations:
Auditions:
Auditions for the Spring Play, Mother Hicks, we be on February 22nd from 3:30-5:30pm.
All interested students should attend. The cast will be made up of up to 10 students and there is also plenty of backstage opportunities!
Here is a quick synopsis of the show: Set in southern Illinois, during the great Depression, this play is about three outsiders - - a foundling girl known only as Girl; a deaf boy, eloquent in the language of his silence; and an eccentric recluse, Mother Hicks, who is suspected of being a witch. The tale, told with poetry and sign language, chronicles the journeys of these three to find themselves, and each other, in a troubled time.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact Mr. Fegertin room 231.

Bio:
This is my first year teaching at EHS and my first year teaching in general. I am very excited to work with the students at Eisenhower. I am a recent graduate of Illinois State University majoring in Theatre Education with minors in English Education and Psychology Education. Originally from Romeoville, IL, a southwest suburb of Chicago, I now reside in Forsyth. I am ecstatic to begin working with the Drama Club at EHS. I plan to bolster self-esteem while allowing students to experience the theatre arts. I am also planning on putting on two productions this year, one in the fall and another in the spring. If you are ever looking for me you can find me living in my classroom (Room 231). Thanks for stopping by and please feel free to contact me at anytime.
