Mari Rettedal-WestlakeCreative Producer/Festival DirectorMari is from Stavanger (Norway) and came over in 2002. She graduated from Central School of Speech and Drama as a Creative Producer in 2006. She also has a BA from University of Surrey Roehampton in Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies. Mari co-founded Maddid with Vala and has worked on all their projects since they started in 2007. Whilst working with Vala in Maddid, Mari also works as the Creative Producer and Centre Manager for the Space and Space Productions: "www.space.org.uk". Mari co-founded Space Productions with Adam Hemming in 2007 and has been the Creative Producer there ever since.She produced the program for the company including the plays; The Real Inspector Hound, Doggs Hamlet, Master and Margarita and The Graduate, and the new writing; Saving of Santa, Space Christmas Space Show, A Time to Remember and the current piece Twenty Twelve. Mari programmed and ran the Enterprise Festival of new and innovative work at the Space for 2 years. She is the Director of Maddid’s Nordic Nights which is running along side Maddid collective. In the summer of 2009, Mari produced Maddid’s Nordic Festival, a taster of the Nordic Nights, with 14 performances over 2 days.
