About
I have been shooting and editing videos for over ten years now. It all started with a little camcorder and making short films in the woods with my friends. In High School I joined the video program and started working with VHS and analog linear editing systems, and having much of my work aired on public access. I went to The College For Creative Studies with a major in digital cinema and filmmaking where I learned advanced cinematography, lighting and editing techniques where I was lucky enough to shoot on film and use digital editing suites. In between semesters I was constantly freelancing with various clients and interning at production and post production houses that allowed me to fine tune all my skills as well as learning new skills such as DVD authoring and animating graphics. Currently I work as a videographer/editor for Videoevents in St. Charles, Illinois as well as freelancing for The Raven Theatre in Chicago.My long term plan is to eventually become a Hollywood film director. Some of my largest influences are Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, and Martin Scorsese, as well as many others.
