Since I was a wee small thing I’ve wanted to be a photographer. Or rather, I’ve wanted to take photographs. This early interest has led to an almost fanatical compulsion that has, in turn, led to ever-larger handbags that must allow for an SLR, lenses, filters, remote flash, nappies and wipes, a book, a .. you get the picture.
I love grace.
I love beauty.
I love those shapes that lie in between.
I love negative space. Man, how I love negative space. I love how with it a moment frozen in time can let the mind wander and dream a whole new back-story.
I love movement. I get a kick out of how, sometimes, a photographer can shoot a falling leaf and leave you with the suggestion it’s still dancing to a silent music.
I love my babies – golden and chaotic.
I’m not so struck on rudeness, arrogance or chip shop curry sauce. That colour ain’t natural, I tells ya.
I work hard. I work very hard.
This journey is an addictive adventure and I love that each and every shoot brings me closer to being the photographer I’ve always wanted to be.
I am a wedding, fine art and location photographer based in beautiful Cornwall.
My background is in fine arts and landscape and this is reflected in my wedding work.
I am very mindful of the incredible effort to which couples go to create their perfect day and it's really important to have this reflected in the photographs.
I largely shoot reportage style photography. I look to catch the movement, emotion and elegance of the day as well as the smaller pieces that make the day a whole: the little bits that make the whole day unmistakably yours.

The above prices are for one photographer. Unless the venue is very large I prefer to work alone.
Any travel within a 50 miles radius is included. Anything over this is charged at cost.
