2009 Summer With LOHR
Summer Camp
Horse Shows
For the months of May, June and July, LOHR will host a Summer Show Series at Equine Escape Stables in Millbrook. Please check our EVENTS page for dates. At the end of the third show there will be a high point horse and rider awarded for the Show Series. Division below:
Throughout the year Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue attends and hosts events for the community as well as children. In the summer, we have a uniquely designed summer program for children who are interested in not only riding but learning proper horsemanship and care.
In a typical day the kids ride twice and participate in taking care of LOHR horses. In addition to this, we have outside speakers come in and present demonstrations with different horses and disciplines. There are also craft activities and leisure time for the kids to enjoy each others company.

Rates (Per week)
9 AM-12PM: $275
9 AM-4 PM: $375
Camp runs from Monday-Friday. Many of our "camp kids" participate in local shows and events that we attend but this is not part of the camp curriculum.
