The purpose of the National Honor Society is to build great leaders. To help build leadership skills, National Honor Society member volunteer their time to school and community projects. National Honor Society members believe that, through servicing their school and community, they can make a difference. October includes Induction of new members and a facebook cookie dough fund raiser!

Induction of new members will be held in the Media Center on October 25, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. All members are required to attend. The National Honor Society is looking forward to welcoming new members.

Cookie Dough Fundraiser

LHS National Honor Society will be holding a facebook cookie dough fundraiser October 17 - 28. Please look for the advertisement on one of the member's profile page and order some cookie dough! It will be delivered right to your house!

VOLUNTEER STORIES

Tutor

Lincoln High School's National Honor Society participate in an after school tutoring program. Members tutor students from elementary, middle, and high school. Each member is required to participate in NHS after school tutoring 2 hours per school year.
National Honor Society members enjoy sharing their time and talent. They spend 30 hours per school year volunteering their time to help put smile on other's faces.
National Honor Society members volunteered their services to assist with Abe's Days, Homecoming Carnival, and Parent/Teacher conferences. Lincoln High School greatly appreciates their assistance.

Lincoln High School National Honor Society

Lincoln High School's National Honor Society is a group of students who demonstrate and practice leadership skills. These students have a 3.0 GPA, or better. The members exhibit exemplary student behavior. They set examples for other students. These students volunteer at least 30 hours per school year with service to their community and school.

NHS INDUCTION

The National Honor Society will host an Induction ceremony for new members on Tuesday, October 25 at 7 p.m. in the high school Media Center. It is a prestigious honor to be inductuted into the Lincoln High School Honor Society. All members will be present to welcome upcoming members into their society.

FUNDRAISER

The National Honor Society will be conducting their 1st 2011-2012 fund raiser October 17-28. Cookie Dough will be the topic. However, this year the NHS socieity will be hosting a facebook cookie dough fundraiser. This fund raiser is quite unique. All items will be sold through each member's facebook page. All items bought through facebook will include free shipping right to the customer's home!

FUNDRAISERThe National Honor Society will be conducting their 2nd fund raiser of the year. This, also, will be a cookie dough fund raiser. However, this fund raiser will be utilizing brochures. Be sure and buy some cookie dough to help support the NHS events on October 18 - 29. BLOOD DRIVEThe National Honor Society will be hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive at Lincoln High School's Media Center on Tuesday, November 8th. Be sure to stop buy. Donate and save a life!

PENNIES FORLEUKEMIALincoln High School National Honor Society will be conducting a penny drive for Leukemia. This event will take place January 4-13. Please be sure and donate to help fight Leukemia.
