The Lomira Area Education Enrichment Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit corporation established to promote educational excellence and strengthen community participation in our schools. The Fondation will provide schools, students, teachers and communities with financial support and other assistance for programs that enrich educational opportunities throughout the Lomira School District area.

The Lomira Area Education Enrichment Foundation, Inc., is a non-profit organization formed by friends and supporters of the Lomira School District. The foundation was incorporated in June of 1996 and is govered by a volunteer Board of Directors responsible for developing guidelines for funding, selecting projects and dispursing funds for programs or projects. The Foundation was founded to promote educational excellence in all the districts schools, public and private. It's purpose is to generate financial support and other resources that will enhance and enrich educational opportunities and will strengthen community paricipation in our schools.
The Foundation will seek to promote excellence in education by using private revenue to support areas of education that are not typically funded by a school's budget. In the coming year Foundation board members plan to implement grants to expand local educational opportunities and reward excellence. The Foundation proposes to identify and reward the truly meritorious. It aims to inspire students and teachers at all levels to diligently strive to attain their very best.
The commitment meets the educational challenge and plays a crucial role in achieving creative and academic excellence for the 21st century.
Grant Application Grant Application
Assisted programs must be specific in purpose and should avoid duplication of work performed by other community groups or individuals. As to program grants, after a period of initial financial support, ongoing programs should have funding from other sources. Grant requests should state the purpose, goals and time schedule for the award, program or activity and should specify the amount requested. Grants must relate to education or educational program development.
The Lomira Area Education Enrichment Foundation awards grants to local schools, organizations, students and educators. The foundation awards grants for the following purposes:
- Teacher Incentive Grants
- Assistance for Innovative Instructional Programs
- Staff Development and Leadership Programs
- Student and Teacher Recognition Awards
- Activities for Student Self-Improvement and Wellness
- Incentives for School-Community Cooperative Projects
- Promote Youth Community Service Projects
