Dave Pike began singing and playing guitar at age 7. His vocal talent quickly moved
him into the spotlight. By age 13, he was a regular performer on stages throughout
New England.
Through years of playing music, Dave learned to play many instruments: guitar,fiddle,
drums, harmonica, piano, and bass guitar among them. Experience as a bass player
with Jackie Lee Williams honed his timing to perfection.
Dave is also an award-winning songwriter. His approach, full of honest emotion and
experience told in simple language, is the essence of country song. An old Dave Pike Album
on Belmont Records titled Straight From The Heart contained eight of Daves fine original
songs. The title says it all.
Dave has a great love for his fans as well as for those less fortunate. He and the band
perform regularly at fund-raising benefits for the American Heart Association, Liver Foundation,
Make-a-Wish and many personal benefits.
Daves performances today are magnetic. People who dont like country music will stop and
listen to him for hours. The sheer number of songs in his repertoire is amazing. Whether receiving a standing ovation at Indian Ranch or singing an obscure song requested by a single
