How this works: We will be setting you up with a "BIG" sibling shop who will mentor you during your participation in this event. They will be helping with tips in their own, personal way to improve your products and selling strategies. We've got some of the best designers coming together to help you out! Now is your time to ask questions and learn how to work the SL market. All designers will work together to produce merchandise for this fair. Being a "Little" shop only means you would like advice in certain areas and does not mean you are not talented! Since we cannot take on each and every store that applies, we want you to know that if you are not selected it does not mean that your work is of bad quality. Also we hope to have many more fairs in the future, so if you are not selected this year please apply again!
Nearly 1 billion people don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. This is a world wide issue. The reason we picked “The Water Project” is because we recognize the need for change and the need to help those who are suffering. With our help billions of people can get clean and safe water into their homes. This will cut down on sickness , lack of education, and poverty. How can we not lend a helping hand to this cause? The money you use in Second Life and at the fair for the specially made items themed for the cause will be donated to the cause. We have a goal of 500,000 lindens which roughly translates to US$1,992.34 dollars. Below you will see how these funds can help a village gain hope.
* $10 - One Person's Clean Water
* $50 - Give a Family Clean Water
* $250 - Water for a Classroom
* $1,000 - Purchase a Well Pump
* $6,500 - Fund an Entire Project

ART GALLERY
Some of the best SL artists including Four Yip and AM Radio will be sponsoring the event by creating window displays. Displays can be primwork, photography or videos, but must look like a fashion window display.
All artwork should have a theme of water (in any creative form that you choose to integrate it!) to promote awareness of the charity, The Water Project.
Contact Faint Paulse if you have any questions.
This year The Little Big Shop Event is proud to say that we will be contributing to a well known cause and not only benefit the Secondlife community but help a real world organization "The Water Project".
The Water Project, Inc. is a non-profit organization that's bringing relief to communities around the world who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water.
What They Do:
This organization helps provide access to clean drinking water.
Did you know that nearly 1 billion people don't have clean, safe water to drink? We didn't.
When we learned about the crisis, and that a few people can actually make a huge impact, we decided to get involved. Today we're working in five countries helping hundreds of new people find access to water every week by funding water wells and other safe water projects.
