see it in the right Light...
Abstraction indicates a departure from reality in depiction of imagery in art. Geometric Abstraction is a form of abstract art based on the use of geometric forms.
My Abstract Motifs have the ability to convey emotional or expressive feelings and ideas with a smal reliance upon or reference to recognizable objective forms already existent in reality.
Half Reliefs are a nice transition between a two - and three dimensional perspectief ( reality). They seem to come out of the wall - out of another dimension.
Puzzle Art is made from Puzzle pieces. A Puzzle was made and turned around. I draw a new picture on it. Than I painted a corresponding back ground and sticked the puzzle pieces with spaces between each other on there. Two realities weaved through each other. Both picutes are visible and at the same time they form a new one.
These motifs painted on transparent backgrounds include the day Light in a special way : The objects are painted from both sides and over day the Light comes from behind, in the night the foresite dominates and the background gets dark.
I believe in different layers of reality. I love surrealistic images, optical illusions, patterns of different cultures and esspecially the play with colors. Including a Light component to an image is changing it's reality.
different layers get visible through Various Light sources. My Art style is my own way of expressing my reality. Color represents an outside level of joy and happiness.
Welcome to my world: Light Affectable Art
Colors that reflect in the dark create the illusion of being lit from the inside. The absence of any other source of light than the painting or object itself actually makes everything seem to float. Luminous mobiles suggest being in a dream ocean; psychedelic designs on round discs and spheres, fluorescent fish in television sets, transparent suitcases filled with fairy tale figures behind paintings on glass. Tanja Henn creates a world of art that envelopes you, makes you part of its virtual surroundings.
