Our Massages Include:

All 60 and 90-minute massages include hot towel packs, heated beds, hand and foot massage or a scalp and face massage. Our massages also include an extra ten minutes exclusively for you, in addition to your massage. That means, when you book a 60-minute massage, our therapists are hands on with you for 60 minutes. The time you spend getting ready isnt deducted from your massage.

Our detox massage includes therapeutic massage benefits that improve the body’s connective tissues and/or muscles. Detox massage also incorporates a light technique designed to stimulate the circulation of lymph to speed up the removal of toxins from all over the body and strengthen the muscles.

We customize each massage to our clients needs. Our goal is to reduce stress, decrease anxiety, improve sleep and alleviate pain. We use light, medium or firm pressure.

This is a proprietary application of 8 therapuetic grade essential oils from Young Living. The oils are applied "raindrop" fashion to the spine. This treatment was originally designed for scoliosis , but it may also be used for chronic or acute deep pain, general relaxation or systemic infections. It is a very relaxing treatment completed in the course of a 1 hour massage.

Energy work is a form of alternative medicine that focuses on the manipulation of the human energy field to promote healing. During our life we experience stress, physical injury, unhealthy diet or negative thoughts that can disrupt this healthy flow of energy and cause disease in a person. Elder Care Massage relieves aches and pains for our clients. This helps decrease the client’s need for medications and increases their ability to participate in activities of daily life. Because Elder Care Massage induces relaxation, it also improves the quality of sleep, the ease of breathing and helps reduce agitation. With the ability to participate in daily activities with reduced pain, elderly clients feel a renewed sense of self-worth.

According to the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine “… palliative care is to prevent and relieve suffering and to support the best possible quality of life for patients and their families, regardless of the stage of the disease or the need for other therapies.” We believe that the quality of a person’s life is vastly improved through human touch and the reduction of pain and suffering. The National Cancer Institute defines hospice as, “A program that provides special care for people who are near the end of life.” The goal of Hospice Massage is to provide comfort and care to the terminally ill.

Our therapists consider it an honor to work with hospice clients to provide outstanding end-of-life care. Kari

Kari Albro

Director/Massage Therapist

I am a 2000 graduate of A Spiritouch in Madison, Wisconsin where I also received my certification in Spa Treatment, Deep Tissue, and Neuromuscular Massage. In 2005 I became certified in Touch for Health.

In 2008, I received training to work at Rocky Mountain Hospice in Bozeman, Montana as a volunteer Massage Therapist. I also received my certification from Everflowing--Providing Massage in Hospice Care, in San Francisco, California. I began my private practice in 2000 and am now the proud Director of the Life Giving Health Center.

I also volunteered with the Cornerstone Foundation in Cayo, Belize, Central America in 2007. In Belize I worked with the elderly and physically challenged children.

Hannah

Hannah Stiff

Receptionist

Hannah was born and raised in Bozeman, Montana. She graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in journalism in 2011. She has worked in elder care for over four years and has a passion for helping people.

Recently Hannah gave birth to a little girl named Scarlet Lee.

Hannah looks forward to helping promote the LGHC’s belief in affordable massage therapy for all.

Zuzana Drobnik

Massage Therapist

Zuzana is trained in Hydrotherapy, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Swedish Massage, Acupressure and Energy Work. She completed her education at Healthworks Institute in Bozeman, Montana.

Shane Waddell

Massage Therapist

I am a native Montanan. In 1990, I received a Bachelor of Sports and Fitness Science degree with a focus on rehabilitation. In 2000, I earned a degree in Massage Core Therapy, followed by an advanced certification in Sports and Rehabilitation.

I have worked with many different health professionals over the years including doctors, chiropracters, physical therapists and athletic trainers. I am dedicated to helping people live happier, healthier and more functional lives through the benefits of massage therapy.

Zuzanna is an avid runner, skier, rock climber and outdoors enthusiast. Many of her clients are active people and athletes alike because she understands their bodies’ needs.

Zuzana is also our resident artist- check out her mural on the side of Heebs Grocery Store in downtown Bozeman!

"I am dedicated to detail and the creativity I am able to offer the Life Giving Health Center. I also believe in healthy, holistic living and want to integrate that into my massage therapy," Zuzana says.

Beth

Beth Kubly

Massage Therapist

Beth has been trained and certified in massage therapy since 1992. In 1993, she trained under Paul St. John in Neuro-muscular Therapy and practiced in a pain clinic for four years. In 1996, Beth established her own practice. In 1997, she began working at a Five-Diamond resort and health club while maintaining her practice.

Beth was trained through Upledger Institute in Craniosacral Therapy. She also received training in Lymphatic and Hot Stone Massage and Myfascial Release. In addition to her massage therapy experience, Beth has 37 years experience in nursing.

Beth has worked with many diverse clients- from cancer patients to clients with fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis and other special needs. “I enjoy neuromuscular massage therapy because it’s geared toward pain relief,” she says.

Terry

Terry Croad

Massage Therapist

Terry graduated in 1992 from the College of Physical Arts in California. She trained in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Reflexology, Craniosacral, Myofascial Release and Reiki. Terry has been studying therapeutic essential oils with Young Living and is proficient in Raindrop Therapy.

Terry enjoys using essential oils for their curative and soothing powers. Raindrop therapy, which she has been practicing for 18 years, is used to treat scoliosis, acute or chronic back pain and fibromyalgia. All the oils used in Terry’s massages can be modified for the client’s specific needs.

Terry has been a Montana Adult Education Instructor since 1998 in massage and aromatherapy. “I love working with people and my greatest joy is to have my client get off the table feeling better than when they got on,” she says.

Shane Waddell

Massage Therapist

Shane is a native born Montanan. His schooling includes a bachelor of sports and fitness science with a specialization in rehabilitation. In 2000 he earned a degree in massage core therapy followed by an advanced certification in sports and rehab in 2001.

Amy

Amanda Deerman

Massage Therapist

Amanda completed the 1000 Hour Massage Therapy Certificate Program in 2002 at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Boulder, Colorado. After graduation, she built her massage business working at a chiropractic clinic where she gained experience helping clients recover from various injuries.

Amanda moved to Bozeman in 2003 where she established her own business. She has also worked at the Healthworks Institute as a teacher's aide and clinic supervisor. She has volunteered as a massage therapist for participants in the Sweet Pea Run, the Bridger Run, the Boulder, Boulder Run and other sporting events.

Amanda strives to approach each massage session with attention to detail. She uses Swedish massage as great relaxation technique, while incorporating Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy and Reflexology to ease tight, painful muscles. She can also help relieve the stresses of pregnancy with prenatal and postpartum massage.
