The very best of Glamrock and the 70s
I am very sad to announce that, after 19 years, with immediate effect, The Look is at an end.
After some amazing highs it reached a point, about 3 years ago when some members found it hard to understand exactly what the band was about. Since then I managed to keep the band playing but, in my heart I always knew it was not as good as it should have been. Recently, band members tried to change what I believed to be the best way forward for The Look. Unfortunately, I do not accept substandard and know that our audiences do not expect that either. I therefore reluctantly decided not to compromise but to finish the band just 6 months short of it's 20th Birthday.
Thanks to everyone who made us what we were and made me feel so great at every gig.
Check back here for some pictures from the bands past and details of what I'm planning next.
Lee.

The Look were formed in 1992 to bring back the sights and sounds of a bygone age. Those who remember ‘Glam Rock’ and the seventies are in for a treat and those who are new to the sounds of this era will soon be hooked. With their flamboyant stage show and enthusiasm, The Look have proven themselves to be one of the most popular seventies Tribute Bands around.
The Look pride themselves on their professionalism, and as well as performing a range of Glam Rock classics by bands such as The Sweet, T-Rex, Slade, Showaddywaddy and Alvin Stardust, to name but a few from their wide repertoire, they also take care to wear clothes and make-up that reflect the glitz of the 1970s Glam Rock era.
With many years of experience behind them The Look are noted for their ability to bring an audience to life. Their foot stomping, hand clapping and lip pouting stage show, make The Look the ideal band to raise the roof and bring the audience to their feet in classic 70s style.

Young, good looking, well dressed and gorgeous. None of these could be used to describe 'The Leader'.
However if you want to see the best 'Front Man' in the world....... Look no further.
Pete is a welcome addition to the band. Able to learn songs by ear almost instantaneously
and helping make them our own, Pete's ear for music knows no bounds. It helps that he looks great in Red and Gold sequins too.
