Monica Puig is the President and Founder of Latin Business Club of America , Editor of Latinbiz magazine and Host of Biz Talk radio show.
Monica has over 20 years experience as a relationship strategist in public, customer and investor relations, as well as networking and business development. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from Nova Southeastern University and a Hispanic Media certification in "Locución y Periodísmo" Hispanic Media Communications MA from St. Thomas University. Her contributions to South Florida's business community have earned her recognitions that include: the Keys to Miami-Dade County and the City of Coral Gables, Proclamations from two Miami-Dade County Mayors and the Mayor of Doral and Certificates of Appreciation in recognition for her valuable contribution to the community; recognitions from the Mayor of Hollywood, the Florida State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce, the Florida AIDS Coalition; The IIFWP Ambassador for Peace award as a responsible media, the Woman of Impact award, and the Successful Business Woman of the Year Award from The Latin Chamber of Commerce of the United States.
In addition to, since 2000, being the sole owner of Latin Business Club of America parent to www.latinbiz.net and www.freeyourspirit.org , Monica Puig is also a partner in several private corporations. An accomplished serial entrepreneur, Monica invests her management expertise and marketing experience into innovative early and mid-stage companies. She has worked extensively in the set up, business development and sales (in the English, Spanish and Creole speaking markets), and national expansion (including franchising) of various US corporations.
Monica is also an enthusiastic mentor and volunteer, a member of Rotary Club, Nova Southeastern University Alumni Association International, and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International. She serves on the Hispanic Council Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami and the Board of Family of Humanity. Monica also serves in the Advisory Board of Connecting Our Cultures . She served for eight years in the Executive Committee of The Miami Latin Film Festival, a non-for-profit organization committed to promoting Hispanic culture and supporting the growth of the Latin Film Industry in Miami. Monica supports programs that work to improve the quality of life and expand opportunities for women and children in South Florida and under-developed countries.
During tough economic times, Monica has concentrated not only on providing other professionals with free advice that they can apply to their businesses, but also bringing them messages of gratefulness, hope and unity. She dedicates much of her time in helping job seekers discover their value, assisting them in writing their introduction letters and updating their resumes and social media sites. Monica is passionate about bringing awareness to human rights and civil rights issues, and mobilizing others to volunteer, sign petitions and write their representatives and is quick to be an outspoken supporter of any fight for equality. She believes that spirituality should be a part of every business and that the world can be healed if each one of us makes the commitment to shine our light onto others, and show others the light, value, and beauty that exists within every single one of us.

I believe that by empowering others, we empower our communities, our country and the world. This is why when solicited for advice, we should be generous in sharing our knowledge and experience. By providing guidance to others in their journey, I honor the value of the guidance I have received in my own journey.
I don't have any special ability to heal your spirit or make you realize your blessings, only you can do that. I can, however, remind you of your magnificence by sharing with you the tools that will help you get rid of any false notions you have about yourself to help free you to start living as you are meant to live, in harmony and stress free. I cannot change your environment, but I can show you how to respond instead of react.
