BEHIND THE LENS
Digital Installation Artist, and filmmaker, Laura Aisling Pieroni, graduated from Washington State University with a bachelors in Digital Technology and Culture, with an emphasis in media authoring, and minors in communications and film. With a passion for gaming, films, and art she worked to create fun interactive installation pieces that incorporated a multitude of sensors, and flash programming. Never a traditional artist, constantly working outside the box, Laura also worked on several dark and comedic digital animation shorts at that time.
A go getter since high school, she started the broadcasted news that was aired every morning. She edited, directed, wrote for, and starred in it. During her time in college she interned for Idaho Public Television, working on everything from a children's science show, D4TV, and Outdoor Idaho. She also did freelance work for the CW on home makeover shows. Here at Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center she is striving to reach her never ending goal of creating more fun in the world.
