Ariah spent most of her life training under the King and Queen of Kritol who made her learn to protect their daughter. When the time came for the princess to be handed over to the evil wizard, Ariah was handed over instead, dressed like the princess and spent the remainder of her life, serving as his slave. Whenever she messed up or refused to listen, she was locked into a pitch black room filled with spiders. When one of the spells go wrong, she's transported to the coast of Silverion.
