I graduated from WSU in the spring of 2010 with my Bachelor of Fine Arts with an Honor’s Co-Major. I was born in Southwest Michigan and have lived and produced theatre here all my life and am so excited to expand my career into new and unknown territory. In the summer of 2008 I attended the Moscow Art Theatre School (MXAT) summer intenisve. He was last seen in art4artillery's Hot Summer De(z)ire as Blanche DeBois from Tennessee William's masterpiece Streetcar Named Desire
In 2009 I, along with Rachel Porter, Stephen Church and Alex Trice, started a non-profit theatre company called art4artillery. Our company’s mission statement is based around the simple truth that: Today’s society is plagued with warfare and the attacks are strategically fought on different battle fields. We face War on Terror, War on Drugs, War on family values, and Wars on injustice, economic disparity, and the individuals place in civilization. The weapons we use are subversive, often disguised under disingenuous charm. Somehow we find ways to engage ourselves in combat by removing ourselves from the fight entirely. Our weapons become those of apathy, egocentricity, and pettiness. The only weapon I’ve ever learned to use is art. Theatre has and always will be my sobering religion and my weapon of choice.
