Kamran's Testimony
one in his own language. To his surprise the hotel clerk said he could have it. (Jesus was already at work!)
In the hotel room Kamran started to read this Bible. As he read the story of Jesus life in the book of Matthew, every time that he would get to the name of Jesus, the name would jump out of the bible in to the air close to the ceiling, that happened 3 or 4 time until Kamran saw a man standing on the air above him.
Kamran knew in his heart that it was Jesus. Jesus told Kamran that He would help him to get his visa to America. The next day Kamran went to the Embassy of United State and in a very short time his visa was approved.
Now Kamran was ready to leave every thing behind and start fresh in a new country.
Being frustrated with religion he knew it, he focused on trying to become an actor and model in the United States. He always say I couldnt reach God, now I wanted to reach some thing big.
By another divine appointment after 3 years in America he ended up in an acting class led by a Spirit-filled Christian. On one occasion his teacher questioned him about his faith, and tried to talk to him about the love of God. This only stirred up Kamrans hurt and anger with religion.
After several different conversations about the love of God, a roommate of Kamrans teacher asked him if he would like to say the sinner's prayer with her to accept Jesus as his personal savior. Kamran felt in his heart that he should pray to Jesus, not believe that He is The Son of God, just pray to Jesus.
Kamran was born in Northern Iran to a loving family of mostly non-practicing Muslims. At age 12 his father, Manochehr, suffered near fatal injuries from an attempt on his life. Manochehr had acquired favor from the Shah of Iran to help local villagers by making a road for them that would allow them to travel easier to and from the city. This road request upset the wealthy landowners who in turn sent people out to run his father down with a car. Manochehr miraculously survived, though he would never walk well again. He has suffered physical set backs all his life. For this reason Kamran had to take over the family store business at this very young age.
A few years later, at age14, Kamran received a visitation in his dream from an angel who gave him some godly advice. In this visitation he could see God at a distance. In the religion of Islam it is unheard of for anyone other than the highest Muslim religious leaders to receive visions like this so Kamran wondered why he had that experience. The vision stirred Kamrans spirit and caused him to think that there must be more to God than he had learned or knew of. Kamran decided to search for a God he could have a relationship with. He became an avid seeker of Allah through the Shiite Muslim religious practices. His pursuit of a true relationship with Allah left him angry and disappointed in a god whom he couldn't have a relationship with. Kamran realized then that deep inside he longed to have a true relationship with God.
When he was 29, Kamran decided to leave Allah and Iran behind and try to get to the USA. He wanted a fresh start and sought to obtain a visa. He did not tell anyone what he was about to do except his mother, who kept this a secret from the family. Kamran knew it would upset his father terribly to have his oldest son leave. Kamran was hoping his younger brother could step up and take his place in the family store. He had to get out.
In a Cypress hotel, while waiting for his visa appointment, Kamran obtained a Persian Bible in the lobby of the hotel. He had never seen a Bible, much less
