This is my 13th year of teaching! In August of 1992, I began my career teaching 3rd grade at Holy Rosary School, as a long-term substitute teacher. The following year I was hired to teach 1st grade. I taught 1st grade for the next 6 years until I gave birth to my twins. I then decided to stay home with my children for the next 6 years. In 2006, I was re-hired to again teach 1st grade at Holy Rosary. The following year Holy Rosary and Ss. Peter & Paul unified and I was then hired to teach 4th grade. This is my 5th year teaching 4th grade.
My husband and I live here in Kiel and we are the proud parents of a sophomore in high school and our twins are in 6th grade this year.

The fourth grade Religion curriculum covers the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes, the sacraments, the Holy Spirit, and the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy.
The following are some of the topics covered in the 4th grade Science curriculum: cells, organisms, extinction, ecosystems, the solar system. Each year the 4th graders make an ecosystem diorama and a solar system.
The first part of the 4th grade year in Social Studies is spent on learning how to read maps, learning about the different types of maps, learning the regions of the United States, and learning more in depth about our own region-the middle west. The 2nd half of the year is all about our great state of Wisconsin!
