The 22nd Algonquin College Community Relations Project
Every year the first year public relations class gets together and organizes a community relations project. This year the class has paired up with ICAfrica, an international charity for entrepreneurs in Africa.

ELECTRIC ECLECTIC: CHARITY ART AUCTION AND CONCERT
A diverse mash-up of music, poetry, art, and tasty pub morsels, all washed down with a nice cold brew. This event truly has something for everyone with the additional benefit of giving you the chance to flex your charity muscle. Local artists of all genres will be banding together to help foster the entrepreneurial spirit of those worlds away. Your Friday night is set.

ALGONQUIN PR CLASS OF 2011 PRESENTS GIRL GEEK DINNER OTTAWA
Women entrepreneurs and students across Ottawa will get together for a night of food, networking, and a night of awareness. Learn about women entrepreneurs and their battles in the business world, and about women entrepreneurs and their struggles in Africa. PUT A STRIKE ON POVERTY
An event suitable for the whole family! The put a strike on poverty bowl-a-thon will be held at McArthur bowling lanes in Vanier. You and four of your friends can enjoy an afternoon of bowling and prizes. Prizes will be awarded for the best themed team, dress up as your favorite characters. Come out and put a strike on poverty.

KEEP THE BALL ROLLING FOR ICAFRICA
Come out for a full day of family fun. You don't need to know how to play ball hockey, just come out and have some fun. Get your friends together and form a team or just come out and cheer on the players. There will also be a barbeque to raise money for ICAfrica. The tournament will be run in a round robin format and prizes will be given to the top three teams.

Our guest speaker for the evening will be ICAfrica director, Eugene Nzeribe. Alumni of the Algonquin College alumni will be in attandance as well as CPRS and IABC members.
