Actress & Flamenco Dancer

As an actress Kristelle Monterrosa stars in theater, film, television, commercials, radio and voice overs in Argentina, Chile, France, Germany, and several of the United States. Flamenco Bailaora, she performs internationally with artists such as Mario Reyes from the Gipsy Kings, Viviana Guzman and Alicia Morena. Co-founder of the Buenos Aires based company "Mar de Lagrimas" she worked on the creation of 'Medea Tango' a tango and modern dance show of great emotional depth. Complementing her conservatory and fine arts training with seminars and master classes by international artists such as Liv Ullman, Eugenio Barba, Mercedes Esmeralda and Rocio Molina, Kristelle is a performing artist who challenges herself constantly and trains rigorously, searching for the purest expression of emotion in her work.

I perform monthly at Santino's in Santa Monica. Come have some tapas an enjoy some Flamenco dance & music! I began dancing flamenco at age 6 in Rota, Spain. I started competing that same year. When I arrived to California at age 10 I was hooked. I was then allotted a full dance scholarship at age 12 to train with adults twice my age. My early exposure to gipsy traditions, spanish culture and flamenco as a lifestyle led me to pursue flamenco professionally. Over the last 14 years I've performed internationally for sold out concert halls,TV spots, benefit events and private/public venues world wide. I've performed with internationally renowned artists, such as Mario Reyes from the Gipsy Kings, Viviana Guzmán, Alicia Morena di Palma, Sabrina Silva. I've received traning from Merche Esmeralda, Rocio Molina, Alicia Morena di Palma, Anselmo de Jerez, Sonia Marquez, Ana Maria Amahi and Claudio Arias. I perform and teach Flamenco classes/workshops to adults and children in the United States, South America and Europe.Some past performances:July 2011.
