According to the Indiana Department of Education, there are 226 public and 0 non-public schools located in rural areas outside of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Area that have grades 8 and under. However, due to specific school district policies, not all of the schools contain just grades within the target of K-8. Thus, each school will have to be examined on an individual basis to determine their specific needs. Fortunately, the Indiana Department of Education website makes determining the grade make-up as well as enrollment by grade very easy. After determining the individual needs of each school, the materials will be distributed at the beginning of the academic year in order to decrease the pressure on teachers. It will then be up to the teacher to determine when it is best to use the booklets.
