Service Concepts needs to be aggressive during its first year in order to create a splash. However, the overall goal needs to be a steady, sustainable reduction in the overall consumption of energy by REMC customers. First Year Objectives During the first year after the implementation of this marketing plan, our goal is to have 50% of schools located within REMCs’ boundaries to provide at least one day of energy education to grades K-8 with accompanying take home material. Issues The main issue with this plan is getting enough schools, and teachers, to commit to the plan. It will take time, as well as input from outside sources, in order to create teaching materials that are valuable to the students and their families, as well as the teachers who will use them. Also, it will be difficult to initially measure the effectiveness of the marketing plan.
