"Fuelish" is a 1977 Chevy Monza Alcohol Nostalgia Funny Car. It was bought by Mark and Tracy Klingerman (The Klingerman Bros. as they're affectionately known) as a Fiat on the West coast in 2001. That winter The Brothers bought the Monza body and mounted it. The car is on it's third engine since The Brothers bought it, currently being a 498 Blown Chevy Big Block. Being able to put some power to the pavement, Tracy always gives the crowd a good smoky burnout, and is known for his hard-charging, wheels up launches.

Race Updates
National Trail Raceway: We Tested Friday Night and ran a 7.32 1/4 mile E.T. The first round on Saturday we ran a 7.37 1/4 mile E.T. with an embarassing misshap at the line. We started the car and the blower belt pully came loose. As Tracy waited in the car on the starting line, Mark and Austin ran back to the trailer and got the proper wrench, tightend the pully, and had a decent run that put us in second place for the Chicago Style Event. The second round got us into some trouble. As the tree turned green, Tracy took off and headed straight for the wall taking a 1 inch by 1inch hole out of the right rear fender, and finished with an 11 seconed run. Not very good. After the race was over we found out that if we'd run 2 thousandths of a second faster the first round we would have made the finals...but that's drag racing! Next Up MCIR!!!
