After an exhaustive search lasting several months, ranging up to 20 miles away, Pier wound up with an opportunity to rent 3,000 SQ feet on the SAME property as his house!
The new studio is set to open December 4, 2010! Currently we're taking booking for December and later.
Steph has been recording a full length LP, with Mike Pfeiffer Producing, for the past year. The album titled "Made to Change" is a songwriting tour de force, which highly showcases Hayes prolific abilities and musical range. The album is in its final stages now with HopeTown's own Master Mixer Pier Giacalone putting all the awesomeness together. Check back for updates and release dates.

Bios/Credits In Nov 2009, Pier had recently moved to Bucks County PA from NYC and answered a Craigslist ad that Mike had put up looking for mastering help. What they found was that Mike had a beautiful studio space and Pier had a studio's worth of gear, so they made an audio Peanut Butter Cup and a friendship/partnership was born!
By June 2010, Mike's lease on his space for HopeTown was up and the landlord wanted to sell the property. After a long search, Pier got a call from his own landlord telling him that a 3,000 sq' facility was becoming available, literally in his back yard. The new HopeTown Sound is now open in the new location and doing better than ever!
Pier Giacalone:
I have been studying guitar and music in general since the age of 7. This included studying classical guitar through Jr. High and High School and winning a college scholarship to study music. I earned a BFA in Studio Composition from the conservatory at Purchase College - SUNY.
My first professional gig was playing guitar in the show band on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines at the age of 20. The same year I began running live sound at the venerable indy landmark Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ.
I have been engineering now for 20 years, a span that has included everything from owning and operating my own mastering studio in NYC to international touring running front of house sound at venues including Radio City Music Hall, The Beacon Theater, Irving Plaza, The Bowery Ballroom, The Royal Swedish Opera House and many more. I have earned major label credits in all aspects of music production, live and in the studio, in a wide variety of genres.

Mike Pfeiffer:
I was born. I had a dream. To live out my days doing what I wished, which was to be a musician. That dream has taken me to some pretty interesting places. Some of note; playing in and being the main writing force in bands for the past 18 years..including my current group Bellflower..Recording with Grammy award winning producer Scott Mathews and Grammy award winning producer David Ivory. Opening up for international recording artist Damien Rice at the Legendary Mann Music Center in Philadelphia. Owned and operated One Tree Hill Music Store in Northeast Philadelphia from 1998-2001. Began Recording myself in 2004 started Cellardoor studios in 2005. Moved on to open Hopetown Records in 2008 and am currently teaching Guitar, Songwriting, and arrangement. My skill in producing is inspiring great performances and aiding artists with arrangement. I am a very honest performer-producer-person. Going to record in a studio should be a great experience that you never forget. Rates: Please call to discuss your goals. 20 years of experience has offered many options for how to save time in the studio.
50% deposit is required to hold a date. Deposit is forfeited if you cancel within 24 hours of the session.
Payment must be made in full at the end of each session. We can take Credit Cards via Paypal.
Recording & Mixing: $400/day. $55/hr. A day is 8 + hours, 4 hour min. per session.
Mastering: $50/song. As a package deal, mixing rates can be extended into mastering if you're doing both with us.
Rehearsal Time: $25/hr, Solo Rehearsal (drummers, singers, tubas, etc): $10/hr (bumpable against recording sessions).

Just take RT 263 (York Rd) North. Turn left on RT 413 (Durham Rd). Turn right on Carversville Rd.
From NYC (90min):
Take the Holland Tunnel to RT78 (w). Go to exit 29.
Take RT 22(w) to RT 202(S) - to "Flemington". Take RT 202 through Flemington - traffic cirlcle (3rd exit) - stay on RT 202. It will cross a small bridge over the Delware River ($.75 toll). Take 202 approx 2 miles in PA to Aquetong Rd and turn right. Take Aquetong approx 6 miles to town of Carversville. Turn left on Carversville Rd. Studio is approx a mile on the right. Second property after MacNeil Rd.
