Kinder Faces is not just about birthdays, we've been seen at Weddings, Christenings, Store Openings, Fetes and Christmas Parties.

The name Kinder Faces has been around for a relatively short time, however Jessica and her team have been face painting and entertaining individually for over 7 years.

Jessica is the managing director and creator of Kinder Faces. Jessica has been performing professionally for over 8 years, and working with children for the last 6 years. She has worked as a nanny, and with various educational organisations, and entertainment venues and companies. While working with children, Jessica saw a real need for good quality entertainment that was flexible, fun, and that children of all ages could relate to.
Jessica is a qualified actor and dancer. She has trained with NIDA and Deakin University. Jessica graduated with distinction and a double major, majoring in both Drama and Contemporary Dance.
Her acting work has seen her appearing on Australian TV series' such as Neighbours and Rush, and in TV commercials. Her confidence and presentational skills landed her a time slot on air on Melbourne's youth radio station SYN 90.7FM. In addition, Jessica has found herself in numerous new and classic works of theatre, went to art school, and trained as a makeup artist.
Jessica continues to update her skills and training. Jessica attends circus workshops and has performed with West Side Circus, was a puppeteer in the stage show 'Vardo the Wagon', and when she can, she attends conferences such as the Australian Body Art Carnival in Queensland and the international Kidabra conference in the US.
Jessica can't think of a better job! When people ask Jessica what she does she says, "I'm a full-time fairy!".

- Drama & Dance Workshop Trainer
Elanor (or Princess Ellie as she is often called) is engaging and fun at parties and events, her natural creative flair has allowed her to develop into a fantastic face painter, and talented balloon artist. For years Elanor has been teaching dance classes for children of all ages, incorporating hip hop, ballet, contemporary and creative movement.
She has an extensive background in dance, both as a professional performer and choreographer, and also teacher. Elanor is a graduate of WA Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) completing her Bachelor of Arts: Dance. In addition, she holds an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts: Dance.
Elanor is full of confidence and spoke during 'Toddlers Week' in Perth about the importance of movement in child development.
One of her favourite achievements was dancing on stage at The Aria Awards in 2008 during the live performance of This Heart Attack by 'Faker'. Not only recognised for her contributions to dance, Elanor has also been highly commended for her work in Drama.
Elanor has also worked as a Pilates instructor.
Megan has been working with children for many years now. Megan holds a certificate in 'Peer Support' for her involvement with Kids Help Line; and is qualified at a tertiary level in leadership skills and outdoor recreation. As part of her training Megan led camps and activities for children of varied age groups and abilities.
Megan is very active and has previously hosted rock climbing parties at an indoor climbing gym for children and adults from 3 years old.
Megan loves gently encouraging children to do their best, and loves watching their confidence grow.

Tessa is the most musical female in our team. Tessa loves to pick up her guitar and strum tunes, she gets everyone singing along in no time.
Tessa is very creative and artistic and found a natural talent in face painting.
While music is Tessa's passion, she is continuing her studies in Engineering and Science at Deakin University.
Perhaps it is this combination of brains and creativity that enable her to twist and engineer some pretty unbelievable balloon creations!
Oliver is our talented airbrush artist whose artistic talent with an aircompressor crossed over to his work with a brush, and he has fast become a great face and body painter!
Nothing is too much to ask with Oliver, often learning from bizarre requests is always adding to his repetoire of twisted balloon creations!
Oliver is very involved as a leader of a local youth group.
The kids just love 'Olli' and I'm sure that you will too.
Nicholas is our fire artist who amazes audiences with his twirling, spinning, poi, staffs and tricks.
He use both fire, and LED glowing light to create his atmospheric performances.

Tim Budas is our most popular male professional actor, and voice over artist.
He is a University graduate of Flinders Drama Centre in South Australia.
Tim was lucky enough to be offered the opportunity to study screen acting at the New York Film Acadamy, in the US, in 2005
Chances are that you've heard Tim's voice on your favourite Australian TV series, and Australian feature film. Tim has most recently worked on 'Hawke' and 'Killing Time'.
Tim has previously worked on radio for 5UV in South Australia. And, you may have listened to Tim's voice on one of many corporate films and presentations.

All children's parties are hosted by a costumed character of your choice (subject to availability) to suit a variety of party themes. Parties are suitable for Boys and Girls, with both Male and Female entertainers available.

Professional Parties:
All entertainers are qualified teachers, actors and dancers.
All entertainers carry mandatory Working With Children checks issued by the Victorian Justice department.

Some costumes may vary in style from the images shown, depending on your entertainer.
Yes, we do have additional deluxe characters available on our 'Events' page under 'Santa and Character Hire'.
Deluxe costumes such as the Easter Bunny are not suitable for face painting or balloon scultping...
Our fairy parties are very popular... From our purple ballerina fairy, to our green garden fairy, you'll love every glittery one!
We have both female, and male 'jack sparrow' type pirates!
We have both male and female clowns. You may choose to have a 'friendly faced' clown with only a little bit of make up - or the 'full clown' with the painted on smile!

For your assurance we have public liability insurance. A copy of our certificate of currency may be requested.
All entertainers also have a Working With Children Check (WWCC) card, you may request a copy.
Face Paints
Our Party Face and Body paint is made by Snazaroo.
Snazaroo is made in the UK and designed specifically for face and body painting.
Snazaroo Paints are Hypo-Allergenic.
Snazaroo face paints are specially formulated to be friendly to the most delicate skin and are fragrance-free.
Snazaroo is Non-Toxic.
All Snazaroo face paints are manufactured using only ingredients fully compliant with EU & FDA toy and cosmetic regulations, and are non-toxic.
Snazaroo washes off with water.
Snazaroo face paints are all water-based, so they're as easy to get off as they are to put on. Water and a flannel (face washer) will normally do the trick!
The face paint we use at events (including UV paints) may also include products by Kryloan who specialise in theatical make up and effects. A full list of ingredients is availble on request.
Balloons
Our balloons are made by Qualatex.
They are made from 100% latex, and are biodegradable.
Qualatex balloons are strong and long lasting.
They will have a longer life if kept away from heat / light and sharp objects.
Broken and uninflated balloons pose a choking hazard and should be discarded immediately.
Safe Practises
- All brushes, latex and natural sponges, and water bowls are washed thoroughly after every event.
- Water is changed regularly throughout each event. No disinfectant is added to the water as the paint already contains agents which act against yeast, mould and bacteria.
- All children must have permission from a parent or care giver to receive our services. At private parties it is assumed that permission has been obtained prior to the party, unless told otherwise. Kinder Faces accepts no responsibility and is not liable for any loss or damage caused or related to any act or omission by a supervisor, carer or parent.
- The Kinder Faces entertainer must be advised if any of the children have known allergies or skin conditions that may be relevant to face painting or balloon sculpting (such as latex allergies) .
- Due to the risk of infection, we do not paint the face of anyone who appears to be suffering from a cold- sore, runny nose, conjunctivitis, or any other infectious skin complaint, or who has an open sore or irritation. We may choose to paint one cheek, or the back of the hand as this skin is less sensitive.
- Face paints are designed for use on children over 2 years of age.
Kinder Faces has the right to refuse to paint the face of any child under the age of 2 years, or any child reluctant to have their face painted.
Very young children do not always understand face painting, someone that they do not know is doing something to them which they cannot see, and this can be a traumatic experience.
With permission from a parent we will offer a design on the back of their hand, where skin is less sensitive, where they can see what is being done and feel in control of the situation - Face Painting should be fun!

Yes, we do face paint adults! Why should kids have all the fun? Whether you just want special make up / face painting for yourself before heading to a costume party, or want to invite us to the party, we have a package to suit you!
We also have Ultra Violet (UV) paints available for night clubs or evening events.
If you have a design or picture of what you would like to look like, we encourage you to share them with us before our visit, so we get an idea of how to tackle your design...

Individual Session:$65
If you are wanting a single face or body creation, this is the way to go.This usually takes about 15-30 minutes.
Small group:$85
One of our artists will visit for up to 30 minutes. We can usually complete about 3 elaborate designs in this time, but we are happy to simplify to accomodate more faces (within reason).
1 hour:$130
We can paint approx 6 very detailed adults faces in one hour but we can simplify our designs to accomodate approximately10 -15 adults per hour.
Additional hours:$80
Inclusions:
1m x 1m Face Painting Table, and 2 Chairs.

Our talented stilt walker will not only tower over your guests, but can also show off their twirling skills with poi and staff.
He will entertain by blowing bubbles, and making balloon animals!

Kinder Faces provides outstounding atmospheric fire twirling and fire displays.
Fire (like all natural elements controlled by mother nature) is always considered to be dangerous. However, Kinder Faces takes every precaution to make your experience as safe as possible.
We follow guidelines set out by the CFA and MFB. For more information about fire safety, please click here...
Alternatively, we can create an amazing atmospheric light show. Twirling staffs and poi with LED lights!
Light shows are a great alternative for night clubs, indoor events, and days of total fire ban.
Our Fire Performer is on a well earned break, and learning some new tricks!
