ABOUT THE ARTIST
"Kiera Hoefle is a senior from Middlebury Union High School. She is enrolled in the Design and Illustration program at the Hannaford Career Center. Kiera is a second year student at HCC, having completed the Visual Communications program in the spring. Her instructor for this series has been Lisa Rader.Kiera has been honored at the Hannaford Career Center before, having been our Outstanding Student of the Quarter for quarter two, 2007. Through her HCC program, Kiera has been a highly motivated student who always approaches a problem from a number of different perspectives. As a Design and Illustration student, she has routinely searched for the best overall solution, and has participated in Governor's Institute for the Arts. Kiera will receive dual enrollment college credit in Design and Illustration through the Community College of Vermont.Kiera has been a High Honors and Honors student her entire career at Middlebury Union High School. At MUHS she has participated in several Varsity sports: Basketball, Soccer, and Alpine Skiing, and also spent a semester abroad in Spain. Kiera is employed part-time at Middlebury Market and Sama's Cafe.Next year, Kiera plans to attend a four-year college or university to major in Art and Design." - "Hannaford Career Center Student of the Month."
