Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce
The WCEA was formed in 1998 and is a voluntary association of full- and part-time city of Walnut Creek employees, dedicated to promoting communications and cooperation between the city and its employees, improving working conditions and negotiating contracts.
It was formed to open dialogue and discussion between the city of Walnut Creek and its employees which is critical. Whether it is on ways to improve services to the community, enhance job performance and satisfaction or negotiate fair wages, the WCEA acts as the voice for employees.

What makes Walnut Creek a great place to live,
work and shop?
People!
It is the people of Walnut Creek that have made it what it is today. And playing a major role are Walnut Creek city employees. The people who fill the pot holes in the roads, cleans the streets, maintain the parks and open spaces, check in books at the library, and pull the curtains to open an opera are just some of the people who help make Walnut Creek unique.
