Marketing Strategy
Our strategy in marketing the Energy Saver program will focus on making every interaction with the customer seem personal. For example, each audit will involve a significant amount of interation with the customer, getting them involved in the process rather than merely watching and listening. This will show how much money they are losing by not taking action. Through this program we hope to get our customers more involved in making a commitment to save energy. Customers would then pass on information through word of mouth, in turn generating more interest.
Information will be available through the Tipmont REMC website and customer service line. We will also launch an ad campaign consisting of television commercials broadcasted on local stations.
