I got my first camera when I was about 9, a cute little plastic one that looked like a penguin. I used it for a couple of years, until I got my first "real" camera, an analogue Olympus . That one was my darling for quite a long time, when I decided that I was gonna loan my brother's digital camera ( the first digital one in my family ) that he got from my dad when he bought a new one. It was a Fujifilm FinePix A200 with 2 mpx and 1.25 x digital zoom.
But since that wasn't mine, I eventually had to get my own. So as a birthday gift on my 17th birthday, I got a Advent MP71 . I choose the camera myself, but since I didn't know much about cameras back then I kinda got tricked to go with the worst camera I've ever tried. So after struggling with that one for two years, I bought myself a pink Canon Digital Ixus 95 IS , which I was really content with. Sadly, that one was stolen, but I bought a new one quite quickly.
Of course, a little compact camera isn't enough for a mind with big ideas. So in 2010, my dad and I bought a system camera together, a Nikon D3000 ,
and that's what I use now!
