Bio
Throughout her entire young life, Katrina Marie's left and right brain were at battle. She worked hard to learn math and science but never quite understood why she felt the need to put random notes together in her head every time she felt a wave of emotion. She felt she was making the right decision when she threw on a lab coat and goggles and headed over to the University of Vermont to pursue a degree in medicine. To her surprise, she ended up testing a very personal hypothesis outside the lab when she began recording those odd note progressions that were floating around her head. Right before Katrina Marie mailed her medical school applications, she suddenly began to understand why she had such a strong passion for music. To her, music is the beautiful mix between mathematical equation and deep emotion. Music is what makes her feel whole. Katrina Marie decided to keep the applications and take off the goggles for a while so that she could give both sides of her brain some time to shine.
Since then she has compiled those random notes into a debut album entitled "Wake Up." In this album, Katrina Marie sings of life, love, and some very tough decisions of which most people can relate.
