Max Dmitrieff
Max Dmitrieff is the unchallenged frontman & songwriter in Russia's most mysterious and unique band, 'Katherine's Favourites'. During the last 16 years, he has been an inspiration to the team, which never stops experimenting with music. After receiving a classical violin education, Max never hesitated about which path to take next. Purely performing never actually attracted him - he wanted to create his own, original music. It took Max a while to discover his artistic direction, musical and personal style before he became a professional studio musician and record producer.
The standard of sound, performance and the very material of KF's music became so high in Russia, that the domestic music market gradually saw the group go deep underground. Nevertheless, in subsequent years, Max and 'KF' have managed to build up a huge fan base, true lovers of genuine music and live sound. Max is also a real master in bringing to life the musical imagination of both cinema and theatre directors. He is often sought after to provide soundtracks for movies and the stage.
Max is also a successful producer of many new artists, who often release their albums with his assistance and encouragement. With his passion for experimentation, both Max & KF are always eager to join any large-scale musical projects in Russia.

This pearl from Far Russia, called Max Dmitrieff & Katherine's Favorites, has remarkably good sound
because it comes straight from their hearts and bettersweat souls. The guitars are... sublime, simply
wonderful music to our ears. The band does an excellent job of demonstrating the intimacy that they
generate in a small live setting. We look forward to listen to this masterpiece.
