Hello! I am Katrina, blog keep, designer and letterpress printer at Ma Joie Press. I grew up in a small town with pie-in-the-sky dreams. One came true in 2008 when I married my high school sweetheart, Tyler. I found my passion for art in college, and my passion for letterpress while planning our wedding.
After a year of teaching myself to print, I gained enough confidence from printing my own wedding invitations to start an Etsy shop. I spent all 2009 selling and learning and acquiring equipment. The online community is amazing to me. I look forward to the part of everyday when I can sit down and see what my favorite blogs have to share, it’s so inspirational. It has been wonderful to have a chance to follow my dream. I have finally made it to the most exciting part of my journey, building my collection, and sharing my story.
I love design and history, and always aspire to create clean, simple, clever and beautiful art. Ma Joie Press my creative printing studio that combines modern design with vintage printing techniques. Minimal composition, original illustrations, messy hand mixed ink and century old industrial equipment is my inspiration to create a personal, hand crafted product.

We love making every type of invitation, announcement, business card, favor, you name it! The sky is the limit, and special requests are our favorite. If you know exactly what you want or only have an inkling of an idea, we can help. For pricing, please check out our pricing structure, or message us for a quote.
The custom ordering process begins with your information request- via email, phone, or any other way you can find to contact us!
We will respond with a price quote, and an order form / printing contract . You will return the contract with a 25% non-refundable deposit. For your convenience, we accept mailed checks and paypal as payment methods.
At this point, we begin designing and collaborating. We will send you options based on our conversation. You will choose or make note for adjustments until we reach the perfect design for your project! Please allow a two week period for design collaboration.
After we've reached an agreed design. We will send you a proof for final approval. If everything is perfect, the final 75% will move this project into the printing phase. Please proofread very carefully, at this point, there is no turning back!
Happily, your project will be completed and mailed within two weeks of the final payment.
Things to note:
The design and printing process, takes a minimum of four weeks. Rush orders available for an additional price based on your project. After finalization, you are responsible for any typos, and the price for reprints. Please proof read, and ask everyone around you to, as well. Letterpress prints vary slightly between one another as they are each individually handmade. After all, this is what we love about letterpress!

Ma Joie Press accepts personal checks, money orders, cash and credit cards as forms of payment.
