History
This started off as a one-wing project for a friend after discovering that there were not many unique and beautiful wings out there on the market, only the plain mass produced ones.
As they were a huge hit, more were custom made for various people going to festivals such as Glastonbury, The Big Chill and a lovely little local festival called Aeon.
Kate has been making them for 6 years now and has sold them to many people all over the globe.
She has created faerie wings for various occasions such as weddings, hen parties, birthdays, theatre shows, Halloween, photo shoots and design company story boards.
As well as creating faerie wings for wearing (or displaying as a piece of art), she also designs and makes tiny wings which can be used in many different ways, either individually or collectively to make a mobile.
She has now started to create other items such as phone socks, finger puppets, push toys etc
Her new family of Flitter Critters are rapdily growing.
Founder
Wingsical was created by one lady and consists of 'Things With Wings' designed and created entirely by her.
Kate has a great passion for art and craft after growing up surrounded by her creative family. She gets her inspiration from growing up in Devon, such a beautiful part of the country. Living out in the sticks with a family of horticulturists she found nature very inspiring.
Having studied art and design, she discovered a love for wire and mixed media. This has been her passion ever since and she has continued to pursue this as a hobby.....
