Hello!My name is Katie and I'm a student photographer in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Photography has been a hobby of mine since I was fourteen and I have loved it ever since. I use the term "student photographer" very loosely, in the sense that I'm a student while also being a photographer. I'm actually going to school for English. My ultimate goal is to become a novelist or a novel editor, at the very least. But goals change all the time; we'll see what happens.While photography has been a hobby of mine for many years, I only started doing work for others the summer of 2009. Since I have not been doing people/portraits/etc. for very long, my portfolio is still rather small, but I'm hoping it grows with time. When I photograph people, I shoot outdoors. I like to take advantage of parks or other natural backdrops. I do not have a studio, so I try to use that which is around me. Nothing beats natural light, either. My main love is taking photographs of nature, whether it be landscapes or flowers. I think nature is absolutely beautiful and should be appreciated more than it is. I will drive a good distance for the right picture, but I will also use my backyard. I like viewing things in different ways that others may not see.If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
