Advanced Communications is an Alarm company that specializes in Emergency Operations and communications, controls and system design and planning. we are providers in Alarm systems, Emergency Telecommunications Service, Support Services, Alarm Monitoring, and 911 Communications Management. We provide consulting services and are available to come on-site to provide the services we offer.

DISPATCHING SERVICES
Whether dispatching our Alarm Tech, or an Alarm Tech or vendor outside of Advanced Communications, our EOC staff makes all necessary calls to alarm technicians and alarm vendors for repairs, inspections or general service calls. Just call our main number and we'll take care of call handling and dispatching. "One Call Does All" with Advanced Communications.

We contract with Government agencies and private firms of large and small. Our primary service is safety; we provide services in 911 call-taking and dispatching and emergency after-hour calls for those in need.

EMERGENCY COMMUNICATION CENTER (ECC)
Our Emergency Communications Center (ECC) is staffed with professional alarm dispatchers and operators. This is the Center for Central Alarm Monitoring (Central Station) where alarm signals are processed and dispatched.
EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER (EOC)
Our Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is staffed with Emergency Specialists and Direct Care Specialists. It is the support center of our company where Data is processed and telecommunications support services are provided. Alarm equipment and Technical support assistance are also available in our EOC. In the event of a disaster, our Emergency Specialists can assist you with making phone calls, dispatching additional resources such as Emergency Crew, Logistics for Transportation and Temporarying housing and food. Count on us to assist you with any Disaster support needs!

Our Central Station monitors signals from your system, which includes Medical Pendants, Pull cords, Smoke Detectors or any other equipped RF (wireless) device. We can also monitor Fire Panels, Elevators and be your personal Telephone Answering Service (TAS). We want to be your one-stop communications service and offer you close personal attention. We have saved so much in the senior communities budget - and we are proud of that!

Advanced Communications is a premier 911 Telecommunications company. Our Alarm Portfolio is highly detailed and ensures accuracy of account data detail and false alarm management. A majority of our clients are of 55 years or greater and who live independently in their own home or community.
Advanced Communications takes our service and the industry to the next level by assessing and analyzing alarm reporting to identify those subscribers competency. We become mandated reporters and analysis with the data we collect from those who use our services to ensure that our subscribers have the best care possible and are getting any additional help they may need.
Your Equipment
If you already have a Medical Alert System (MAS) or Emergency Call System (E-Call) in your community, Advanced Communications can help switch or convert your system to our Central Station. If you do not have a call system, we are pleased to provide you the best and affordable system through a company outside of Advanced Communications. Any technical difficulties you may have, we will find the problem or contact information you may need.

Advanced Communications is a premier Medical Telecommunications and alarm monitoring company. The concept of Monitoring a security system (also referred to in the industry as an alarm panel) is installed in a building (residential or business). Upon a triggering event (like a break in, hold up, panic, medical or fire), the panel seizes the phone line (some panels use internet, cellular, or radio transmissions) and calls the alarm company, Advanced Communications (also known as a Central Station). The panel sends data over the phone line (like a fax) and is received and acknowledged by a hardware device called a receiver. The receiver sends the alarm information to the Monitoring Dispatchers computer where it is interpreted, processed and presented to a dispatcher for action. In the case of a break in, hold up, medical or fire emergency the dispatcher may attempt verification of the event by calling the premises (also known as a subscriber or customer) or will dispatch the police depending on the procedures followed at the central station or the instructions given by the resident or business. Dispatchers can also send medical help, fire personnel, service and maintenance personnel and can notify the subscribers designated people on a call lost (responsible parties) upon unauthorized entry into a building within a specified time frame (also known as time schedules or open/close times).

Our alarm monitoring station is in full operations 24 Hours a day - Everyday. Our dispatchers are at first alert and take every call to top priority and follows through the call until help arrives. Rather Medical, Burglary or Fire, our dispatchers are trained in 911 Dispatching.
Advanced Communications uses the most modern computer and telecommunication technology in combination with highly trained operators to respond to electronic signals originating from customer security systems installed in your home or business.
Alarm signals from customer systems originate from sensors located on the premises: medical devices, smoke detectors, motion detectors, glass break detectors, and door & window contacts. The security system then automatically initiates communication with the Central Station, either through the normal telephone system or by radio transmission. Some security systems use both.
At the Central Station, the alarm signals are received through a fiber optic telephone network or a radio network. These signals are then processed by special equipment that converts the alarm signals into a standard computer format for further processing.
After initial processing by computer, all information about the customer and the current alarm signal is automatically sent to trained operator for further action. Although computers are important, the human element is vital in providing Advanced Communications customers with the best possible service. That special touch of a caring operator can make all the difference in re-assuring a frightened customer.
Central Stations play a crucial role in any life and safety program. Unmonitored alarm systems cannot provide you with protection you need.
Most commercial burglaries occur when the premises are closed, and most residential burglaries occur when you're away during daylight hours. When your alarm is monitored by a Central Station, you are assured of around-the-clock protection and the rapid dispatch of emergency services at all times.
When an alarm event occurs, your control panel dials the telephone number of our Central Station and transmits digital signals identifying your systems account and the alarm condition. Trained operators monitor your system 24 hours a day, record any signals, and take appropriate action.

Monitoring & Dispatch
At our emergency call center, just like our alarm monitoring center, the elevator phone in your building will be monitored by Advanced Communications Emergency Dispatchers who are skilled at handling emergency situations. When the call button or phone is picked up by an elevator user in need of help, the information will Instantly display the exact location of your elevator and location on the dispatchers screen. The dispatcher will give any instructions necessary, dispatch maintenance or the fire department for rescue assistance.
It's The Law
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA 4.10.14) and ASME A17.1, A17.1a, A17.3 and IBC all require a two-way voice emergency communications system in most elevators. In addition these systems must be answered by a 24-hours a day at a location capable of dispatching help.

How We Collect Information: All calls are recorded, and information taken during the course of phone calls directed to our customers is collected in a computerized system for ready access in order to relay the message content to our customers, according to their chosen procedure.
How We Use Information: Message content is used solely for the purpose of relaying messages to our subscribers. No employee of Advanced Communications is authorized to use any of the information for any other purpose. Call recordings are used to verify the content of calls in case there is any question regarding what was said, or what information was transmitted by the caller for relay to our customer. We further use the recordings internally to screen for quality control issues, to assure that our staff members are doing a thorough job, with courtesy and professionalism. They can be used to determine the attitude of the caller and the Telephone Secretary, as protection in cases of alleged abuse or lack of professionalism.
How We Protect Information: All recordings are under the control of Supervisory Staff and Management at all times. No access by the general public is allowed for any reason, including business entities which may have a business relationship with Advanced Communications.
Information Disclosure: Information and access to recordings is available only to authorized Advanced Communications employees in the course of valid business purposes. Access is denied for personal or non-business purposes. Access by police or other investigative authorities is available ONLY by valid court order, with written and properly-executed documentation.
Access To Information: Customers my have access to recordings only from their own account, for valid business purposes, such as verification of the content of a call, the attitude of a caller, or the performance of a Advanced Communications staff member. Copies of printed message files or recordings my incur a fee for research or copying, including supplies, media and postage/handling. Advanced Communications reserves the right to require written authorization for this service. Advanced Communications respects the privacy of both our Subscribers and their Customers or Clients. Our professional Telephone Secretaries and support staff are screened and trained to uphold the highest levels of confidentiality. All messages and transactions are secured, and accessible only by authorized personnel. Advanced Communications uses a standard Business Associate Agreement to define the responsibilities of all parties involved in message processing. A copy of this Business Associate Agreement can be provided upon request.

Our medical alarm product is the best in the industry. It is the only Medical Alarm system that will keep the customer connected with our EMT operators no matter where they go. Other systems require you to be near the speaker box to talk to the operator. With our MediPendant, your two-way speaker is built right into your pendant and has 300 more feet range than other systems.
Most accidents happen outside of the home, or in the bathroom. If you need help, other systems will not hear you. We will with MediPendant! And unlike other programs, our operators are EMT certified and stay on the phone with you until help arrives!
We understand that not all call for help require an ambulance. If you dont want an ambulance and just need help, push your button and we will contact your emergent contacts that you listed on your account.
