Anything I take on, in life and in art, whether simple or filled with detail must come from within. Much in the same way as music is just noise and vibrations before the mind can decipher it, art doesn’t become so until one can accept it for what it is. In music, art, and life--without the participation of the mind, we’d just be indulging our senses.
Although I've taken on a number of mediums over the years and would like to learn everything I can about them in time, my true love continues to be the slippery stuff--paint.
