Praise the lord everybody, praise the lord everybody. Greetings in the mighty name of Jesus. I just wanted to update everyone with the lastest news and changes of Evang Lemmie Battles Music/Speaking ministry. First off, the song that you are hearing is a snippet of the newest song we went in the studio to record. The lord has blessed us with favors in the music industry linking us with great songwriters and producers. New upcoming singer/songwriter Mr Dennis Qualls who we all no so well (Dude), and upcoming production team of Lil Rod Productions spearheaded by Mr Rodney Jones. Now I have plenty of reasons to tell the lord thank you so we decided to title the song "Tell the Lord thank you". This song is real near and dear to my heart and I need your help in supporting it to help us take it to the next level. That level will help us get back into the studio and finish a complete new CD project. As many of you know, the music industry is going through some hard times right now but we are determine to move right along spreading the message through song and praise. Now my friends, I've included below a donate link to a paypal acct in which you can help play an important role in helping us reach our goal. We can't do it along, we need prayer and finances to help us push the ministry to the next level. Also theres a link to a Itunes site were you can go and purchase/download the new single. I also link through Facebook so stop by and leave me a message. We really need your help with the download purchase as to the higher this number, the more leverage we would have with the industry. Also please, please, please call your local radio stations and request this song, its now in radio rotation thanks to your love and support. So thanks in advance for all the love prayers and support as we look to move the ministry into a new chapter. Love, Evg Lemmie Battles.

Chicago Mass Choir's Lemmie Battles is quickly establishing herself as one of those singers. In the tradition of Shirley Caesar, Aretha Franklin and Albertina Walker, Battles' driving stage presence and powerful vocal performances make her one of the rising stars of Gospel music. With a style that somehow manages to be both contemporary and traditional at the same time, Battles' voice cuts through the "me too" of Gospel music in a way that few singers ever do. That's why Battles has been selected to sing with many of the top names of Gospel music, and why her first major label recording ("Let's Have a Good Time") became one of the best selling traditional gospel releases of 2003 Through the ages, traditional gospel music has been largely defined by a small handful of female singers who can match unrivaled on-stage enthusiasm with an equally unrivaled voice. That's why Battles has been selected to sing with many of the top names of Gospel music, and why her first major label recording ("Let's Have a Good Time") became one of the best selling traditional gospel releases of 2003 A mass choir is only as great as its members--and one of the reasons that the Chicago Mass Choir is so legendary is the extraordinary talent of Lemmie Battles. For more than seven years, Lemmie Battles’ stunning vocals have helped shape the sound of this Grammy and Stellar nominated group. After the January 2003 release of the Chicago Mass Choir’s album“Live in Nashville,” it became obvious that it was time for Lemmie to step out and be featured on her own as a solo artist. Lemmie Battles has nine grandchildren, five children, two sisters, eight brothers, and is a three time cancer survivor. If that is not sufficient for her to send praises like crazy, her first solo project “Let’s Have A Good Time- Live” (New Haven Records), surely did the job with the testimonial remake of Inez Andrews’ hit “Stranger in the City”! But to date, Evangelist Battles released her sophomore project, the new live worship experience recorded in Chicago in June 2006, entitled, “You’re Looking At A Miracle.” This testimonial, uplifting worship experience is a sheer testament of God’s goodness and is a must have for every believer in the body of Christ! Between solo projects and other collaborations, this Arkansas born evangelist/singer has developed notoriety as a member and soloist of the Chicago Mass Choir. Three of those memorable solos are Holy Ghost Power; I’m Going With Jesus All theWay; andWhatever You Need God’s Got It. In the last decade, Battles has performed with many gospel greats to name a few: Pastor Shirley Caesar, Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin, the Mighty Clouds of Joy, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Minister Jesse Dixon, plus recorded efforts with C.M.C., and Reverend Clay Evans & the Ark Mass Choir. During her ministry travels both solo and with the Chicago Mass Choir.
