Hello Friends,
Anyone who knows me knows that I love taking pictures almost as I love my sweet Golden Retriever, Shelby. Obviously, Shel is big now, (yikes almost 70 pounds!) but she still as good as gold. This photo reminded me of how important photos are in saving memories. Life is short! Don't let the good times pass without your own "personal collection of memories."
For the past 5 years I have been an event photograper for HOUR DETROIT MAGAZINE! During that time, I have taken photos of some of the most famous people in the world at all kinds of parties, fundraisers and events.

ABOUT ME
Carrie has been involved in the Media almost all of her career, both in front and behind the camera. After graduating from Michigan State University, she studied acting with the famed Uta Hagen H.B. Studios in New York City and with various teachers in Los Angeles. She has appeared in four Feature films (two with iconic Director of “Spiderman” Sam Raimi), TV series, Soap Operas, various stage productions and over 300 print campaigns, commercials, industrial films and voice overs.
As an award winning photographer, Carrie has been a regular with Hour Detroit Magazine photographing both local and national celebrities, including Magic Johnson, Gordie Howe, Rodney Stuckey, Tom Izzo, Patrick Swayze, Jessica Simpson, Carmen Electra, Governor Jennifer Granholm, Senator Carl Levin, Gloria Steinem and Elmore Leonard.
As a photojournalist, she has traveled throughout Africa, using her photographs to promote awareness of the atrocities taking place in Darfur, to build a school in Kenya and to sponsor orphans in South Africa.
