Oscar Naranjo started Latin Groove Productions with a vision of a sharing his passion and love for latin dance. Latin Groove is new, fresh, an exuberant dance troupe using a fusion of different rhythms and movements. We thrive on high energy and quality performances! Our dancers come from various dance backgrounds and come together to deliver the spirit, the groove and the rhythm of dance. Our performance team would be happy to provide high quality entertainment for all your private or corporate events.

about kevin Naranjo
Kevin (17 years old & Oscar's younger brother) started training with us at the age of 12. Kevin has not only learned to dance and perform but he's got a special talent that leaves the crowd breathless. He's got great showmanship, style and rhythm. Kevin made the front page of the News Herald when performing in Michigan.
about Hayley
Hayley (16 years old) started dancing at the early age of 8. Hayley has been dancing with us for over 2 years. She has an extensive dance background of many dances such as Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Acro & Tap. Hayley has achieved an outstanding level of Salsa dancing in the relatively short time she's been practicing with us
about Leo
Leo (16 years old) started with us in 2003. Leo is a great dancer and has passion for it, he has performed in many important well known events such as the Toronto Salsa Congress and Winter Salsa Carnival. He has learned very quickly and he has developed his own style in many of the routines he has been challenged for.
about Roxy
Roxy (15 years old) began her dance training at 10 years of age with National Ballet School in Toronto. With only 3 months of intensive ballet training she performed in the "Nutcracker" production at the Hummingbird Theatre. She currently trains in International Ballroom Latin - Style and has completed all CDTA (Canadian Dance Teachers Association) Latin Ballroom exams - Bronze to Gold Star by age 12!! With great enthusiasm in her journey for dance versatility and excellence Roxy adds SALSA with Latin Groove Productions to her continuing achievements.
about Serio Chazi
Sergio Chazi At the age of 10 Sergio began dancing with Oscar's dance company and is quickly evolving into a very talented member of the Latin Groove Junior Dance Team after only 2 years. He is a very energetic young man who enjoys all sports but has a particular passion for Salsa.
about Gabriela Quiroz
Gabriela Quiroz At only 5 years old she began dancing with Oscar's dance company. Gabriela, now 7, is an energetic & passionate dancer who wants to take her dancing to a higher level. She is training in Ballet and Salsa in order to optimize her dancing talent. Her smile and dedication at such a young age is contageous! .
about Janessa Mendez
Janessa Mendez At the early age of 4 she began exploring her talent for dance. She has been training in Jazz, Ballet, & Hip Hop for the past 7 years. She began dancing with Oscar's dance company 4 years ago and has found a passion for salsa. Being Latin she has a deep love for the music, dancing and culture and this truly shows when you watch her dance. She recently began cheerleading in order to strengthen her tumbling skills and further her dance training. Her dedication for dance is truly from the heart.
about Alex Chazi
Alex Chazi At the age of 10 Alex chazy began dancing with Oscar's dance company along with his twin brother Sergio. Only dancing for 2 years, his passion for Salsa is evolving and his talent for dance has grown immensely. He loves all sports but he too has a particular passion for Salsa.

Linda Marsella has demonstrated her talent as a seasoned Teacher, Competitor and Performer during a dance career that has now spanned over 10 years. She is a Dancesport professional, specializing in the art of Ballroom and Latin American dancing, bringing you extensive education, experience and expertise in the areas of dancing, competing, teaching, performing, and business.
Linda started dancing as a hobby with salsa being her specialty. She soon discovered her love for ballroom dancing and therefore decided to take it to a professional level and continue it as a career. In the competition circuit, Linda has placed within the finals of many competitions within Canada and the United States. Numerous audiences have had the pleasure of enjoying her performances at national shows and events held in Toronto and abroad. Aside from preparing for her own competitions, Linda also works hard at helping her students to develop into the best dancers they can be. She is proud to mention some of the great accomplishments that her competitive students have achieved such as ranking first places in all competitions and also receiving top student awards. With each opportunity, Linda continues to improve her skills by taking lessons in both Canada and Europe with some of the world’s best renowned trainers, adjudicators, and coaches.

about Tania Wong
Tania Wong started studying dancing at the early age of 6. While focusing on ballet, she has exposed herself to other dance forms such as jazz, lyrical, swing, hip hop, tango, flamenco, Chinese dance, and of course salsa, which has become her passion. The extensive study of the various dances enables her to apply techniques learnt from different dances into perfecting her salsa dancing.
Throughout her dance career, Tania has received professional dance instruction from numerous renowned instructors. She has also performed and competed extensively with many dance companies including the Hong Kong Ballet Group and the Terpsichore Dance Company. She has obtained the Royal Academy of Dance Vocational Graded Examinations Advanced Level.
In 1995, Tania was invited to start a new chapter in her dance career as a dance instructor. Since then she has taught salsa, ballet, jazz and creative dance classes at various dance schools, community centers and dance clubs, enlightening students from 2.5 years old, to over 70 years old! Tania is passionate about teaching as she would love to spread the joy she finds from dancing to all. Hence she created Enamorarse Dance - Spanish for "To Fall in Love in Dance" - a pioneer dance school that brings the hottest trends in dance and fitness, in addition to conventional numbers.
Her recent performance credits including dancing alongside renowned latin band DLG & bachata group Marcy Place, performing at NAAAP, Purple Orchid Event Management Launch Semi-Formal, Toronto Marathon Little Asia Chapter, and various salsa events. Besides, she has conducted dance programs and performances with the York University Dance Program, Canadian Tire, and various charities including the Canadian Cancer Society and the New Comer Services for Youth.
about Oscar Naranjo
Professional Dancer, Teacher, Choreographer & Performer
Oscar Naranjo discovered his passion for Latin dances when he was only 16. With each opportunity, he continued to improve his skills by training with world renowned dance instructors. Oscar has been performing, teaching, and competing since 1989.
He appeared in the dance movie "Take the Lead" starring Antonio Banderas. The film was released in mainstream cinema on April 7, 2006. It was filmed in Toronto, and at a number of local schools, including University of Toronto.
Oscar have extensive background in dancing salsa, tango, cha cha cha, bachata, meringue, and cumbia. He trained with Argentine Tango World Champion "Fabian Peralta" during his trip to Argentina in Feb. 2007. His hard work and dedication have always paid off.
He was awarded first place in 25 salsa competitions and crowned Vice World Champion at the Miami World Salsa Federation Championships in 2003.
Among other important events, he proudly represented Canada in various Congresses around the world. Oscars dream is to travel the world teaching, dancing, competing and sharing his Latin roots. With each journey he hopes to acquire new experiences and techniques to help him grow as a dancer, teacher, choreographer and performer .
