Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Fred is passionate about everything artistic. He studied Drama in the University of Puerto Rico and is a graduate from the International Fine Arts College where he majored in Fashion Merchandising. He owned his store at South Beach which showcased his original designs. Fred lives in South Florida where he has worked as a Celebrity makeup artist, Fashion stylist, Fashion Designer and model.
He started a meteoric career with MAC Cosmetics in 1995. Fred was continuously promoted throughout his 16 years stint with the company. He held the positions of Regional Director of Artist Training and Development for Spain and Latin America. For years, Fred represented MAC Cosmetics in the media as a Senior Artist MAC PRO TEA M member for US and Puerto Rico. Fred has worked in all major Fashion weeks since 1998. He has keyed shows and assisted top makeup artists like Charlotte Tillbury, Tom Pechaux, Linda Cantello and Polly Osmond to name a few! He also designed the makeup concept for Ricky Martin’s concert in 2008. Fred brings all his knowledge, education and energy to his new endeavor, A-TTAK! Makeup Studio.
Fred will be facilitating Workshops for the Professional Makeup Artist and the Beauty enthusiast while he keeps busy in the International Fashion arena as a makeup artist.
