My Background
My training was at St Martin's School of Art and Goldsmiths college, London. After 5 years teaching Art and introducing Pottery at a comprhensive school, I spent 4 years in Mauritius, doing voluntary community work, including occupational Art and Music therapyfor young polio victims.
In 1977 I created a voluntary communityart and craft Centre, teaching art and pottery to all ages from 5 years, raising funds for Cystic Fybrosis Reserch. In 1994 I initiated the Callington Town Mural sceme.
My first induvidual studio went up in flames and everything burnt to the ground . So, nothing daunted I built a new studio, like a pheonix rising from the flames. I now enjoy painting local landscapes, flowers, portraits, abstracts and murals in oils acrillic and watercolours
