New Orleans Food & Spirits Vestavia
For over a decade, New Orleans locals have flocked to a little family owned restaurant in Houma, La that has devoted itself to "simple-casual" New Orleans cooking. This concept proved to be just as successful for the next two restaurants, which opened in the New Orleans metro area. This love of cooking and entertaining dates back to the 1960's when Floyd and Peggy Waller began dabbling in the food industry, eventually opening a restaurant in the heart of cajun country - Houma, La. Today, the third generation - the Bergerons, have brought this "simple-casual" style of cooking to a new era with an emphasis on perfecting the classics, such as gumbo, poboys and fried seafood.
