TEAMS
Petite Elite: This program is designed for girls 5-11 years old who have been invited to participate to prepare her to compete in the Level 3 team program. This honor is reserved for students who show an above average ability and an extraordinary enthusiasm for the sport.
Prep-Optional: Prep-Optional gymnastics is a program for girls who enjoy competing and may want to be involved in high school competitive gymnastics. Platinums Prep-Optional team is most appropriate for girls who have reached Level 3 or above but cannot make the time commitment required by the J.O. team.
Levels 3-6: Levels 3 through 6 are compulsory competitive levels governed by USA Gymnastics. Compulsory competition means the routines are set and the gymnast must follow a specific routine. Deductions are taken for any deviation from the established compulsory routine. The teams compete throughout Indiana and Region 5.
Levels 7-9: Levels 7-9 are optional competitive levels. To enter in to the optional program the gymnast must receive a minimum score set by USA Gymnastics, in the previous level. Optional competition means that the gymnasts are only given guidelines to what must be done in their routines. However, they must have skills that meet difficulty requirements as well as fulfilling special combination requirements. Our Optional gymnasts compete throughout Indiana and the United States.
Acro Gymnastics Team: Acrobatic Gymnastics is a sport which combines the power and athletic prowess of Tumbling and Artistic Gymnastics with the grace, artistry and presentation of dance. Athletes compete in Pairs, Trios or Fours. Athletes demonstrate strength, agility and flexibility with beautiful pyramids and static holds that require immense concentration and cooperation among the partners.
Team Excel: Team Excel is a 90 minute class for team gymnasts that focuses on strength conditioning, flexibility training and body shaping.
