About Us -

How did Joint Heir KW form? In the year of 2007, James Mayers, founder and CEO of Joint Heir KW began designing a clothing line. He was in search for a name, something with Great and Empowering meaning that was not just a religious term. He wanted to make a brand and not just a statement. The name found him. God gave it to him in a Sunday sermon. Pastor E. James Logan of CFFC zion touched on Romans 8:17 and highlighted the part about us being Joint Heirs. Jamess was floored. It was the first time James ever heard that term before, and after prayer and much study that was it. Additionally, he gained inspiration when he read an article about a man who started a tee shirt line and in a few years grew to be successful. Through observation of the Graphic Tees market, James noticed a void that Joint Heir could fill. Something was missing; he needed to create something new, innovative, fashionably different; a line that would set us apart from all the others, exposing darkness with light. Joint Heir KW markets and stands for all that is righteous by promoting holy living as the ultimate life style thus becoming the more suitable line of graphic apparel for believers. What does Joint Heir Mean? Our foundational scripture is found in Romans 8:17. However well let the word describe it best starting at Romans 8:14-17. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba, Farther. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. KW= Kingdom WearKingdom Wear was added because we are the kingdom. Romans 14:17-18 reads: For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but Righteousness, and Peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. So in essence we are Joint Heirs in Gods Kingdom and thus this is what we wear.
