Our History
Who We Are
Established 1997 RIFAA Ltd has partnership arrangements with many organisations to provide cost effective First Aid, Fire, Manual Handling, IOSH Safety and other Health and Safety training.
The training and services we provide are delivered by professionals in their respective field of expertise.
RIFAA Ltd actively gives support and encourages the many dedicated rail industry employees and their families who freely give their time to attend first aid lifesaver courses around the country, enabling them to maintain their skills on an annual basis.

1st Aid competitions
are run across the UK and culminates in the rail industry final

Apprentices
Last year's Apprentice First Aid Competition, which was attended by young people from many major companies, was a great success; As a result, this year's event will be taking place on
18th November in Portsmouth
First Aid At Work (FAW)
The course has been developed to meet the occupational requirements.
F.A.W. Re-qualification
Re-qualification is by attendance on a two day re-qualification course taken before the expiry of the three year competency period.
Emergency Aid For Appointed Persons & Electrical Accidents
This is a four hour module covering all aspects of the Appointed Person role which includes emergency first aid for electrical accidents, specifically designed for industry.
Manual Handling
Over 1.2 million people are affected each year by back problems and minor muscular-skeletal aches and pains. The RIFAA Manual Handling course covers assessing the risks, the principals of safe handling and practice in safe lifting.
Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
The RIFAA AED Course provides qualified First Aiders with the underpinning skills and knowledge to enable them to resuscitate a casualty who has suffered a heart attack
Fire Training
To enable participants to identify the dangers and causes of fire in the rail environment and understand fire prevention, know what actionís are to be taken in the event of fire.
